[bg] Пак за златното сечение, тъй загадъчно и нежно

Отдавна е отбелязано, че ключовите точки в произведенията на изкуството ги разделят в златно сечение, ако не всички, поне много от тях.

(Ненужно пояснение: при златното сечение по-късото се отнася към по-дългото, както по-дългото към цялото, т.е. грубо 3/5 от цялото, а точно φ = (√5 - 1)/2, като понякога вместо това се взима 1/φ.)

В едно традиционно стихотворение, което е написано със стихотворна стъпка и където всички стихове имат равен брой стъпки, можем да търсим златното сечение по стихове (а не по думи или букви).

Ето петата строфа в стихотворението „Цветарка“ на Христо Смирненски, стихове 17–20 от 28:

17 Върху стройното ѝ тяло, върху младостта ѝ цветна

18 като черни пипала се плъзгат погледи отвред

19 и в усмивки иронични блика мисъл неприветна,

20 че цветята се купуват, а и тя е чуден цвет.

За мене е безспорно, че стих 20 е ключовият. Златното сечение обаче е в стих 17: дали има връзка с това, че той единствен в тази строфа изразява нещо добро?

Също, забележете алитерацията (П и Л и два пъти Г) в стих 18.

Has it ever occurred to you that kB is kilobel and KB could be interpreted as kelvin-bel (properly K•B), whatever that might measure?

In this context, MB, GB, TB, ... might be useful to describe the Big Bang (if there were someone there in the cosmic forest to hear it).

The title, of course, imitates the lexical formula of Gabriel's famous "Worse Is Better".

What is not obvious is elementary.

In my first year studying mathematics at university, Plamen Koshlukov was our teaching assistant in linear algebra. He was a PhD student at the time. Very smart, the problems we were solving in class were nothing to him. Usually, he would state the problem, say "this is obvious", and (immediately) go on to the next problem. Occasionally, he would instead say "this is elementary" and spare (just) one sentence about the solution. Very soon the above law was, indeed, obvious...

Понякога вместо това казваше „това е елементарно“ и отпускаше (само) едно изречение за решението. Много скоро горният принцип беше наистина очевиден...
